Advocates always needs the 
following items which cannot be
purchased with food assistance: 

Household Products:
Laundry detergent, softener sheets, dishwashing liquids, dishwasher powder/gel, sponges, towels, antibacterial cleaners, glass cleaners, disinfectant sprays, cleansers, mops, brooms, bowl brushes and toilet bowl cleaners, oven cleaners and rug cleaners.

Wash cloths, bath towels, pillows, sheets and blankets.

Paper products:
Toilet tissue, paper towels, napkins, facial tissues.

Toiletries:
Shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, toothpaste, dental floss, toothbrushes, soap, skin moisturizer, powder, bath gel, deodorant, bandages and first aid supplies, feminine hygiene products, lip balm, rubbing alcohol, cold cream, cotton balls, hairbrushes, comb and other hair care supplies.

Baby wipes and diapers. 

To help with everyday things:
Gas cards, grocery store certificates, mall certificates (used for clothing, haircuts, photos), pharmacy gift certificates, lunch bags, trash bags, plastic storage bags (all sizes), drink boxes, non-perishable lunch items, and plastic containers for food storage. 

To celebrate:
Puzzles, flash cards, and learning games.

Greeting cards, wrapping paper, birthday napkins and candles, “fast food” gift certificates, movie tickets.

Coloring books, stickers and small toys.
